A Bit About Heather Daris

Thinker. Creator. Teacher.

Thank you for visiting my portfolio! I am currently a 1st-grade teacher at the International Language Academy. This is my 6th year teaching for Pontiac School District, but my 7th-year overall. I graduated from Oakland University with my undergrad in Elementary Education with a minor in Language Arts. Most recently, I have been pursuing my master's degree from Michigan State University. This December I will be certified with my Masters of Arts in Educational Technology.

Currently I reside in Macomb, Michigan with my husband and our two kids. We love being outside and visiting local zoo's. I am a Disney enthusiast and enjoy photography in my free time. When I am not teaching or doing course work, I enjoy spending time with my family.
