Philosophy
When I was in high school, I had the option to do co-op. I went to a local elementary and worked with students in the afternoons. I LOVED IT! It was so much fun working with these small sponges who thought I was some type of superhero. This experience inspired me to become a teacher. Since then, I have had multiple experiences around teaching, but some things remain the same about education.

I believe:
All students want to learn and have the ability to do so
A safe, positive environment where students feel safe is best for building rapport and to conduct learning
Feedback needs to be given back in a timely matter for students to help students reflect on their learning
It is my job to do what is best for my students, which includes exposing them innovative thinking and challenging them
Learning operates best when school and home, work together
My goal is to understand my students, build on their learning through their interests and always inspire life long learners in them
